Italian ICOS Launches Activities in the DACH Market

Italian security VAD ICOS now also offers software solutions as well as cloud-based services (IaaS and SaaS) for the current challenges in the field of IT and cyber security in Germany. The company, based in Ferrara since 1987, now wants to gain a foothold in the DACH region to further strengthen its market position.

To this end, the company has brought on board Alexander Mautner, a country sales manager with 25 years of distribution and sales experience, who managed various sales departments at Computerlinks AG and was responsible for the highest sales volumes at Arrow ECS AG.

His declared goal is profitable growth and the expansion of the ICOS team in the areas of sales, technology and business development.

The focus of ICOS Deutschland GmbH with its new presence in Munich will increasingly be on the IT security environment and in particular on new, innovative manufacturers and proactive technologies, such as solutions for protection against zero-day attacks. End customers have already implemented traditional IT security measures, but are still being attacked by sophisticated, novel methods. Therefore, ICOS addresses these current requirements, with topics such as Security Orchestration Automation and Response, Breach and Attack Simulation, Managed Detection and Response, E-Mail Security, Next Gen Data Loss Prevention, highly secure multi-factor authentication, network monitoring as well as log management, and supports the reseller partners customer-oriented in the areas of sales, business development and marketing.
